Prayer, Meditation and Contemplation

Prayer, meditation and contemplation are the Holy Trinity of
responsible co-creation, each attuning our body-mind-spirit to
the Power of Now.

Opening ourselves to the Power of Now, and aligning our
Body-Mind-Spirit with the Divine, creates portals of
possibility.

As we let go of preconceived notions, limiting thoughts,
attachments, fears and earthly obligations for even a small
space each day - we create a vacuum that draws to us our Heart's
deepest longing.

In this Sacred Space of creation, we calibrate our consciousness
to the vibration of Love, and are given insight, guidance, clarity,
and direction.

During the Blooming Humans journey (and beyond!) consider
setting aside 20-30 minutes a day for prayer, meditation and
contemplation in relation to the Dream Seed growing within.

Choosing to dedicate more is wonderful (no limits of course!),
and if the above feels like too much, even 10 minutes will do.

By daily dedicating space to focus on our Dream Seeds, we are
affirming our commitment to adding our 'Peace' of the Great
Coming Together, while attuning to the present ...
the Power of Now.

As we do, we experience clarity, inspiration, peace of mind and
guidance on how to grow and thrive. We find what works for us,
what we love, how to proceed and are fully opening ourselves
to the beauty of our Dreams.

Just for today ...

Use this simple exercise for conscious co-creation:

Feel every breath as a prayer of Gratitude.
Peacefully meditate on the space between each breath,
and contemplate the Beauty of the Dream Seed within Thee.

Blooming Humans are WE!

===========================================

Prayer, Meditation and Contemplation is akin to planting seeds,
pulling weeds, and enjoying the view of what is sprouting, blooming
and fruiting in YOU!

Much like a gardener keeps growing and planting logs, recording
what comes through each day is a wonderful way to keep
track of the insights, ah-ha's and synchronicities that arise.
This provides a record of the journey, growth patterns
and the massive shifts from what we imagined ... as it BLOOMS
into what IS. Journals and blogs are simple ways to record the
journey ... you will surely find a medium that is perfect for you.

earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except
yourself.

Thrive

I saw this Movie last night and think this was such an awesome Movie to really "WAKE US UP"!!! I recommend you watch the movie and spread it to everyone you know....read below

A message from Foster Gamble
...

Welcome! This website and the movie, THRIVE, are the result of my lifelong quest to discover how human beings can thrive on Planet Earth.

If you haven’t already seen the movie, I recommend that you do -- the information here will make a lot more sense after viewing it. Or, you can just dive in right now to explore the many layers of the critical issues addressed in the film. You’ll also discover breakthrough conversations, coherent solutions, and highly leveraged actions to turn our dire predicament around and create a world where everyone can thrive.

This pyramid shows the basic global structure of dominance and control through the money system.

[Follow the Money Pyramid]

The different levels are broken down as follows:

Financial Elite – The global financial elite – including members or representatives of the Rockefeller, Rothschild, and Morgan families – hold secret meetings and make important decisions in closed groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations. These plans are then implemented throughout the world, further consolidating material wealth and control.

Bank for International Settlements – The BIS is the central bank of central banks based out of Basel, Switzerland that is controlled by the financial elite. It has 55 member central banks but is mainly run by bankers from the United States, England, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Japan. It operates with little transparency and is not accountable to national governments even though it has significant control over the global financial system by setting reserve requirements, the amount of money a banks around the world must have on reserve.

International Central Banks – Central bankers use the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to make more money while exploiting the resources of countries they lend to – bankrupting them in the process. For every dollar the US contributes to these banks, US Corporations – such as Halliburton, Exxon Mobil, and Bechtel (controlled by the economic elite) – receive more than double that amount in contracts from these international banks.[1]

National Central Banks – Almost all countries have a central bank (see the list here), of which commercial banks are members. Central banks set interest rates and determine the amount of money in circulation. They also lend to governments at interest, putting them above the lower four levels of the pyramid.

Big Banks – Big banks offer corporations loans at special rates, allowing them to do business. This puts banks in a powerful position, above corporations and the rest of us, because funding is what allows the corporations to go forward with their projects.

Corporatocracy – Corporations fund political campaigns and influence politicians through lobbying. Many are now bigger than entire national economies, putting corporations above government.

Government – Government is largely funded through taxpayer money, putting it above the people. If it wants to borrow extra money it must go to a Central Bank.

People, The Planet, and All Living Things – At the bottom level of the pyramid is the majority of people on this planet and all other life. As of 2010, one in every seven people on the planet did not have enough to eat and most ecosystems were suffering.

The Awakening

The Awakening

>A time comes in your life when you finally get it... When in

>the midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and
somewhere the voice inside your head cries out - ENOUGH!!

> Enough fighting and crying or struggling to hold on. And, like

>a child quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside,

>you shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears and through a mantle

>of wet lashes you begin to look at the world through new eyes.

> This is your point of awakening.

> You realize that it's time to stop hoping and waiting for

>something to change or for happiness, safety and security to come galloping

>over the next horizon. You come to terms with the fact that he is not

>Prince Charming and you are not Cinderella and that in the real world there

>aren't always fairy tale endings (or beginnings for that matter) and that

>any guarantee of "happily ever after" must begin with "you" and in the

>process a sense of serenity is born of acceptance.

> You awaken to the fact that you are not perfect and that not everyone

> will always love, appreciate, or approve of who or what you

>are...and that's OK. (They are entitled to their own views and opinions).

>And you learn the importance of loving and championing yourself and in the

>process a sense of new found confidence is born of self-approval and self empowerment.

> You stop bitching and blaming other people for the things they

>did to you (or didn't do for you) and you learn that the only thing you can

>really count on is the unexpected. You learn that people don't always say

>what they mean or mean what they say and that not everyone will always be

>there for you and that it's not always about "you" so you learn to stand on

>your own and to take care of yourself and in the process a sense of safety

>& security is born of self-reliance.

> You stop judging and pointing fingers and you begin to accept

>people as they are and to overlook their shortcomings and human frailties

>and in the process a sense of peace & contentment is born of forgiveness.

You realize that much of the way you view yourself, and the world around you, is as a result of all the messages and opinions that have

>been ingrained into your psyche. And you begin to sift through all the crap

>you've been fed about how you should behave, how you should look and how

>much you should weigh, what you should wear and where you should shop and

>what you should drive, how and where you should live and what you should do

>for a living, who you should marry and what you should expect of a

>marriage, the importance of having and raising children of what you owe

>your parents. You learn to open up to new worlds and different points of

>view. And you begin reassessing and redefining who you are and what you

>really stand for.

> You learn the difference between wanting and needing and you

>begin to discard the doctrines and values you've outgrown, or should never

>have bought into to begin with and in the process you learn to go with your

>instincts.

> You learn that it is truly in giving that we receive. And that there is

> power and glory in creating and contributing and you stop

>maneuvering through life merely as a "consumer" looking for your next fix. and instead say "How may I serve"

> You learn that principles such as honesty and integrity are

>not the outdated ideals of a by gone era but the mortar that holds together

>the foundation upon which you must build a life. You learn that you don't

>know everything: it's not your job to save the world and that you can't

>teach a pig to sing. You learn to distinguish between guilt and

>responsibility and the importance of setting boundaries and learning to say

>NO. You learn that the only cross to bear is the one you choose to carry

>and that martyrs get burned at the stake.

> Then you learn about love. Romantic love and familial love.

>How to love, how much to give in love, when to stop giving and when to walk

>away. You learn not to project your needs or your feelings onto a

>relationship. You learn that you will not be more beautiful, more

>intelligent, more lovable or important because of the man on your arm or

>the child that bears your name. You learn to look at relationships as they

>really are and not as you would have them be. You stop trying to control

>people, situations and outcomes.

> You learn that just as people grow and change so it is with

>love... and you learn that you don't have the right to demand love on your

>terms...just to make you happy. But instead be willing to give love.

> And, you learn that alone does not mean lonely..and you look

>in the mirror and come to terms with the fact that you will never be a size

>5 or a perfect 10 and you stop trying to compete with the image inside your

>head and agonizing over how you "stack up". You also stop working so hard

>at putting your feelings aside, smoothing things over and ignoring your

>needs. ..and that it is your right to want things and to ask for the things that you want... and that sometimes it is necessary to make demands. and stand up for your rights.

> You come to the realization that you deserve to be treated

>with love, kindness, sensitivity and respect and you won't settle for less, but you also must give it freely.

>And, you allow only the hands of a lover who cherishes you to glorify you

>with his touch...and in the process you internalize the meaning of self-respect.

> And you learn that your body really is your temple. And you

>begin to care for it and treat it with respect. You begin eating a balanced

>diet, drinking more water and taking more time to exercise. You learn that

>fatigue diminishes the spirit and can create doubt and fear. So you take

>more time to rest.

> And, just as food fuels the body, laughter fuels our soul.

>So you take more time to laugh and to play.(biking)

> You learn, that for the most part, in life you get what you

>believe you deserve...and that much of life truly is a self-fulfilling

>prophecy.

> You learn that anything worth achieving is worth working for

>and that wishing for something to happen is different from working toward

>making it happen.

> More importantly, you learn that in order to achieve success

>you need direction, discipline and perseverance. You also learn that no one

>can do it all alone and that it's OK to risk asking for help. You learn

>that the only thing you must truly fear is the great robber baron of all time.

> FEAR itself.

> You learn to step right into and through your fears because

>you know that whatever happens you can handle it and to give in to fear is

>to give away the right to live life on your terms.

> And you learn to fight for your life and not to squander it

>living under a cloud of impending doom. You learn that life isn't always

>fair, you don't always get what you think you deserve and that sometimes

>bad things happen to unsuspecting, good people. On these occasions you

>learn not to personalize things.

> You learn that God isn't punishing you or failing to answer

>your prayers. It's just life happening. And you learn to deal with evil in

>its most primal state - the ego. You learn that negative feelings such as

>anger, envy and resentment must be understood and redirected or they will

>suffocate the life out of you and poison the universe that surrounds you.

> You learn to admit when you are wrong and to build bridges

>instead of walls. You learn to be thankful and to take comfort in many of

>the simple things we take for granted, things that millions of people upon

>the earth can only dream about; a full refrigerator, clean running water, a

>soft warm bed, a long hot shower. Slowly, you begin to take responsibility

>for yourself by yourself and you make yourself a promise to never betray

>yourself and to never ever settle for less than your heart's desire. And

>you hang a wind chime outside your window so you can listen to the wind.

>And you make it a point to keep smiling, to keep trusting and to stay open

>to every wonderful possibility.

> Finally, with courage in your heart and with God by your side

>you take a stand, you take a deep breath and you begin to design the life

>you want to live as best as you can. And that's the "secret"..make your goals,

dream your dream and work your plan and make your life just exactly how you

desire....

Wishing you Heaven in your heart, starlight in your soul, and miracles in your life in these miraculous times.

Cooperation and Encouragement

Cooperation and Encouragement
by Owen Waters

The biggest lie that your parents and teachers ever told you was one that they, too, had been raised to believe. It’s a lie that seemed to make sense to them and, at the time, it probably did to you as well.

We are emerging from the Old Reality, where abuse of power was rampant. If a person or an organization gained a power advantage over others, they would often use that to make gains for themselves at the expense of others. Now that we are entering the New Reality – one which is based upon heart-centered consciousness – people who abuse power will eventually be seen, not as winners in a competition, but as undesirables or even sociopaths.

The lie which now comes to light is this: That it’s ‘bad’ to have personal power.

However, we are here on earth in order to find our way back to that from which we originally came. In order to make the journey back to God consciousness, we have to keep adding to the power of our minds and our spirits until we reach our final destination. Personal and spiritual growth will continually add to our personal power.

There is nothing bigger or more powerful than Infinite Being, acting as the One Creator of the universe. One day, you will become one with that in your realization and your mind and spirit will, by definition, be bigger than the universe. Between now and that final stage in the evolution of your consciousness, you will experience continual, balanced growth in mind and spirit.

The truth that each of us now needs to face is this: You are here on earth for the purpose of spiritual growth so you will grow in mental and spiritual ability. That means more personal power and, with it, a greater ability to help others.

Your mind will grow in understanding, in intuitive wisdom, and in its ability to serve all forms of life in greater and more meaningful ways. Your spirit will grow as you help others to grow in their situations and their abilities.

The purpose of becoming a big-minded, big-spirited person is to be of big service to others.

Then, in the manner of the New Reality’s heart-centered consciousness, you improve the world for the benefit of everyone. Life is no longer about competition. There are no winners and losers any more, just people who grow by continually doing better than they did before and by encouraging others to do likewise.

Trying to pull a person down for doing a better job is no longer productive. In fact, in the New Reality, it is counter-productive. Everyone should encourage everyone to do everything as well as they possibly can. Genius should be accepted and encouraged, as it benefits everyone. When Mozart was just 5 years old and already composing, would it have been better to see him as a pretentious brat or as a genius to be encouraged? The answer is obvious and, to this day, the world enjoys the fruits of his creative efforts.

The Shift to heart-centered consciousness on planet Earth is not an option. It is happening regardless of anything anyone says or does. It’s a cosmic event that is bigger than the planet and bigger than our solar system. The Shift is happening and the New Reality will continue to emerge until it becomes simply, the Reality.

Heart-centered consciousness creates a movement away from the old attitude of competition. Tomorrow’s world will be built on the New Reality ethic of cooperation and mutual encouragement.

When the world becomes filled with mutual respect and support, you’ll be able to wake up every day knowing that each new day will be better than the one before.

Thailand's Songkran Festival

The Wetter the Better - Thailand's Songkran Festival

By: © Donald Gilliland 2010

Imagine this scene: scads of Clampett-like hillbilly families crammed into the back of pickup trucks, chugging along in bumper-to-bumper traffic and squirting water at other vehicles and pedestrians. The water warriors use squirt guns, super soakers, hoses, buckets, garbage cans and anything else they can get their hands on in order to disperse their liquid ammunition. Drive-by squirtings everywhere.

It might sound like a Hatfields versus McCoy's feud, but it's just another Songkran, the wild and silly Thai water festival that is held each April. Scowls are replaced by huge grins as people of all ages take to dousing one another with water for three solid days, from sunset to sundown. Sure, it sounds like a hackneyed way of venting your frustrations, but the water throwing tends to be done playfully with no malice or destructive intent. The sea of smiles you see everywhere supports that theory. During Songkran - an official holiday throughout Thailand - there are parades, beauty pageants, singing, dancing in the streets and lots of water. Visitors should expect to become totally drenched - and love every minute of it!

The most famous spot for Songkran revelry is in the northern city of Chiangmai, where thousands of foreign tourists join the locals for a bit of watery mayhem. The moat-like canal that circumnavigates the city's old quarter, serves as both a source of water for Songkran participants and an inner boundary for the route used by vehicles that continuously drive the circuit all day. If you think you can escape the man-made showers by ducking down side streets, forget it: there will surely be a group of children waiting to ambush you! It's not until after sundown that the streets become clear of all water battles.

Conversely, the capital of Bangkok becomes pleasantly quiet during Songkran week, thanks to the large percentage of residents that leave the metropolis and return to celebrate the holiday in their home province. Even with this mass exodus, you will still find pockets of definite wet zones around Bangkok, particularly on Khao San Road and the Patpong nightclub quarter. Bus riders, especially those riding non-air conditioned models, also need to be careful. Eager water throwers have been known to board buses or hurl buckets of liquid through open windows.

Songkran marks the start of the Buddhist New Year and officially lasts from April 13-15, although a handful of communities postpone - or extend, in the case of Pattaya -their observances until the following week. Most business pretty much grinds to a halt during the festival period with schools, government offices and many shops shutting down. Airports, bus stations and train stations are jammed with travelers headed back to their home provinces. If you don't have a reservation, you'll find seats very difficult to obtain. It's quite common, thus, to see many passengers riding on the roof of trains during the days before and after Songkran. The other down side is the frightening increase in fatalities due to bus accidents during the festival period.

Puzzled foreign observers are always curious about the reasons behind this soggy celebration. The origins of Songkran date back nearly a thousand years to when the Tai people (ancestors of modern day Thais) in China's Yunnan Province celebrated the start of a new farming cycle during the fifth full moon of the lunar calendar. Water is used in Songkran as both a symbol of cleansing and renewal. Although throwing large amounts of water constitutes the bulk of today's Songkran festivities, this was not always the case. In the past, Thai people would delicately sprinkle scented water from silver bowls or the hands of respected family members. They would also make pilgrimages to area temples and carefully bathe the Buddha images in a similar manner. Songkran is also a time when Thai people routinely do a thorough cleaning of their homes. Additionally, people make offerings to local temples and provide food and new robes for monks. Others build sand castles on the temple grounds as part of a merit-making ritual. Related to the water pouring is a ritual that involves tying strings around the wrists of elders and expressing good wishes. At Songkran a person could end up with dozens of strings on each wrist if they are around enough family members and friends. Customarily the strings are to be left on the wrist until they fall off of their own accord.

In recent years, however, the humble religious aspects of the holiday have given way to unrestrained water warfare. Surprisingly, considering the number of people and vehicles in the slippery mix, you will rarely observe any accidents or cases of road rage. Even police officers, stationed to prevent total anarchy from developing, become smiling, willing targets - though they are doused a lot more gently than the average citizen.

One less pleasurable element to Songkran is the dreaded white powder. Originally this powder or paste was applied to the face, neck or torso of others as a sign of protection or to ward off evil. Nowadays it is smeared on indiscriminately and can sting the eyes of unsuspecting victims. When venturing out into the streets during Songkran, it's best to wear goggles or some sort of eye protection. It's also a good idea to keep your money and other water-sensitive valuables wrapped in a plastic bag - or better yet, left at home. Most people will want to take photos of the action, but unless you have a waterproof camera, or use a zoom lens from a safe distance, better to leave your equipment at home.

Don't let these few little negatives dissuade you from joining the party, however. If you decide to stay indoors you'll miss out on a great time. Joining a crowd of merry Songkran celebrants is intoxicating. The festival may not be as wildly decadent as more famous street parties like Mardi Gras in New Orleans or Carnival in Rio but it's highly unlikely you'll ever find yourself amongst a happier group of people. Certainly, they will be the wettest bunch you've ever hung out with!

Could life Be Awesome?

Photobucket

*** Article: Could Life Be AWEsome? - By Carole Hodges ***
------------------------------------------------------------

Stop for a moment. Dream back to the time when you were limitless. Maybe you were 4 or 5 or even 7 -- before you learned the word "impossible." You could be invisible, or fly, or walk through walls. Feel that tingle of your unlimited possibility.

Could you accept that this incredible power is your REAL truth? Simply and innocently accept that reality for a moment now. Feel the wonder of your authentic wildness. Could it be that what you're feeling is your connection to universal source?

That's your Authentic Wildness Expressed (AWE). It's your creativity and magic. It's calling to you.

AWE creates the super hero and the beautiful princess. The exotic dance and the daring adventure.

AWE is fearless, curious, and spontaneous. Remember picking up a bee by its wings, or climbing the roof to see the view or running through sprinklers on a hot day?
Then we grow up. Become mature. So we know better than to believe in our unboundedness. And we leave AWE behind. We live in the certainty that reality is serious. We measure our time in rational buckets.

Fantasy is not held in high regard in the world of growing up. We leave it behind to fill a role as mother, father, boss, manager or neighbor. We tell ourselves it is time to mow the lawn instead of rolling in the grass. We leave the adventure for our children or grandchildren. As we watch them, something is calling to us still. Their untamed energy touches our hearts. And, if we're lucky, it opens us to outrageous possibilities.

Look carefully, and you'll find it is still there for you, fueling fascination with Olympic athletes, or other acts of daring and excellence. AWE fuels bravery and deep compassion.

If we're truly wise, we never give up that longing. You could wear a red hat. Travel to Africa. Start a new business. Or take up singing. How dare you be outrageous? Actually, how outrageous do you dare to be?

Consider the oldest person we know of: Jeanne Calment. She lived to 122. She began fencing lessons at age 85. She continued to ride a bike until she was over 100.
Following our hearts in AWE can add more time to our life or put more life in our time.

If you think that AWE is self indulgent -- think again. AWE is not about YOU. AWE is what was given to you by the divine source. It's part of your divine contract. It's the power you were sent here to deliver. Recognizing it and honoring it restores your personal connection with the Divine. In short, AWE is not only your gift to the world, but puts you in deep touch with your profoundest truth.

If you, like many others, have left your sense of wonder behind, take heart. It is never too late to reconnect with your AWE. If you are willing to defy expectation, then 40, 60 or 80 can be a perfect time to discover your divine purpose and truth.

AWE is the connection to youth, curiosity and adventure. It's your Outrageous Choice to tap into this boundless source energy and live from your deepest heart.

There are three steps to enlivening your own AWE:

1. Acknowledge, Awaken and Accept

Acknowledge that this yearning exists, especially if you have ignored it. Awaken that sense of the hero or the blinding beauty or the magician within. Then accept that YOU ARE the magician in your life when you decide to open the door of possibility.

2. Wonder, Wellspring and World Consciousness

You could choose to respond to AWE with either wonder or disbelief. Disbelief shuts it down, while wonder gives it a home. Wonder opens the wellspring which continually refreshes you at the core. As you open, you become conscious that there are others -- kindred spirits embracing their AWE -- even as you do. World consciousness is the realization that all other beings are integral to YOUR story and spirit connects all at our wildest core.

3. Energize, Expand, Elevate

Energize yourself in mind, body and spirit. Read whatever interests you. Be present in your body through meditation or exercise or conscious breathing. Since whatever you focus on expands, elevate your thoughts by focusing only on what you want. Do you wonder what you're focusing on? Take a look at your life. That will tell you immediately. If you do not like what you see around you -- it is time to change your focus. It's time to re-design your internal landscape at the first step to change the outside.

As you accept AWE into your life, your horizons grow. Opportunities begin to seek you out. Contacts, relationships and events fall into place with uncanny synchronicity. You feel more alive as increased energy flows through your veins. Isn't it time to dance with your inner spirit?

AWE is a practice which I invite you to undertake. It is a moment to moment return to the present. Say Yes. You life depends upon it. The YES Connection is your part in creation.

The Time for My Life

View larger version at Time For My Life

Thea created this book for herself, and NOW she is sharing it with you!

“Time For My Life: 365 Stepping Stones” is a daily “call to action” helping us take consistent, energized action. There’s also an abundance of no-fluff, feel-good material, on each one of its pages!ing it with you...
424 power pages - to use daily before the gremlins take hold!

Get this book to guide you daily, with “moment by moment” inspiring forward steps that change your experience of life!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with responsibility, bored with the same tired routine, or frustrated about how to create meaning in your life then snippets of time, well spent every day, can lead to extraordinary changes.

The contents on the pages of this book, are guideposts to which you can return throughout the day, providing energy, motivation, ideas, options, personal choices and inspiration when you want them most.

Here is something else to keep in mind...

Apparently the average person talks to himself or herself about 50,000 times a day and it’s said that these personal conversations of ours are negative 80% of the time.
Visitors to www.forwardsteps.com.au and www.ask-thea.about.com often ask me how to remove those negative thoughts.

Let me share a secret with you...

Thoughts are not something to be removed. They can only be replaced, just as as it is when we’re replacing habits that do not serve us.
Use the pages from “Time For My Life: 365 Stepping Stones” as your daily point of focus, before the gremlins begin to take hold!

Can you even begin to imagine, how that many actions, options, inspirations, tasks, and thoughts could transform your life if you took up each of them, over the course of a full year?
There is no failing here, there is only an opportunity to take each of the ideas for a test drive, seeing if they are something you want to keep, discard, or from which you could learn.

You can flick through, and handle the pages of the book like a deck of cards, then feel to select a random page for immediate inspiration, and ideas. If you incrementally take the actions, presented each day in this book, your life and your environment will certainly look very different by the end of a full year.
Time For My Life: 365 Stepping Stones.

I highly recommend this book as a gift to yourself or the perfect gift that gives all year long...it is timeless...

Overflowing Love And Gratitude

OVERFLOWING LOVE & GRATITUDE
Photobucket
The age of Aquarius is upon us! So much overflowing love flooding and nourishing all those suffering, soothing all the parts that are disconnected from source, bringing us in full alignment with the sun of de-light. WE ARE THE UNITED STATES OF A MIRACLE!

Hearts are opening wide, cracking & crumbling all the old ways of being and doing that do not serve anymore! policies, agreements, institutions and structures that kept us separate and powerless. Blinding and numbing us from our greatest potential as human beings.. to be love.. to be free.. to live our dreams... to express spirit in form.

The fertile ground of infinite miracles & possibilities are sprouting love, kindness, unification, tolerance, understanding & forgiveness.

The flower petals invoke the prayers of truth, integrity, beauty, laughter, celebration, inspiration and joy!

We are luminescent tender butterflies rebirthing from the cocoon, emerging in the world of our dreams. Awakening to our highest potential to create the society of our dreams... where everyone gets to do whatever they want.. to live their passion...and because they are working from that place.. its always fun... we have the freedom to play, to love, to dance, to sing, to grow food, to heal ourselves and our past wounds, to make art, to invent new forms of energy, new ways of being in community, new technologies, new ways of being that honor each person from birth to death.. abundance of healthy nourishing food, clean water, air and shelter, healthcare, education, and all those base levels of humanity are a foundation from which we can build a new world.

All Generations United. All Religions United. All People United... focused on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Choosing peace in every step, every action, every thought. Walking in our fullness. Fully empowered beings living and walking our truth, integrity, passion and joy.

Sparks of inspiration.. rising us up to sing our deepest & most profound heart songs.

Imagine what we can create as a collective when we are united in intention!
What kind of world do you want to live in?
Do you believe its possible?
What do you envision your life would be if you were fully empowered to show up in your full potential?
How can we help each other?
What gifts do you bring to the circle?

I am so excited to co-birth this new emerging reality with you all!

Four Tips to De-Stress Your Spirit

Photobucket

Four Tips to De-Stress Your Spirit

Loss of zest, life purpose or identity stresses the human spirit.

How you define who you are, and the meaning and purpose of life is core to the health of your spirit. You experience spiritual stress when these definitions are challenged or unclear. The human spirit asks, “Who am I”, “What is life about” and “What is my purpose”?

These questions peak at times of significant life change or loss as in the identity challenges of adolescence and mid-life or loss of a child, spouse, job or body part.

Attaching identity and purpose to variables outside your control makes you vulnerable to spiritual stress.

Here are four tips to de-stress your spirit.

Tip # 1 ~ Connect with Self
Look deep into your eyes in a mirror. Contemplate. Who is looking? Realize the same awareness inside of you today has been there from the beginning of your life. Your body, emotions and thoughts change yet abiding through the changes is an unchanging, You. This invulnerable core is a foundation for inner strength and support.

Why it works ~
When you are not dependent on outer conditions to define yourself, you feel free. While the outer world is constantly changing and undependable. Your inner being is solid, grounded in reality and invulnerable to attack by others. Viktor Frankl describes this beautifully in “Man’s Search for Meaning”.

Tip # 2 ~ Connect with the moment
Feel the water on your hands as you wash them. Notice the specific way you wash them, the slipperiness of the soap, the temperature of the water. Feel your feet on the ground, notice the sights, sounds and smells around you.

Feeling your experience in the moment is a practice in being present that helps you connect with life in a deep and meaningful way. Set an intention at the beginning of your day to stop and be present more often. You will find this practice reduces stress by increasing awareness and meaning.

Why it works ~
Your mind can only attend to one thing at a time. When your mind is focused on the details of the moment, it cannot ruminate about the past or worry about the future, which are stressful.

Connecting to the present moment centers, relaxes and enlivens your life experience. The insight, knowledge and experience of this moment is available to you. You have a sense of control within your self, which reduces stress.

Tip # 3 ~ Connect with your purpose
How do you know what is important to you? You feel it in your body.

Notice the small voice or sense of knowing inside when something is attracting you.Your body alerts you to what is dangerous or attractive long before your mind can explain why. Pay attention to those cues. This is your intuition.

Your deepest values and purpose are not in your head, but in your heart. What does your heart respond to; what touches you?

Purpose is the force that energizes. It inspires you to get up in the morning. What excites your passion for life?

Why it works ~
When your inner promptings guide you, you cannot make a mistake. These are signs that lead to your truest desires and lasting happiness. Joseph Campbell, the great mythologist says, “Follow your bliss”. When you follow your true path or calling, you are invigorated rather than stressed.

Tip # 4 ~ Connect with nature
You are part of a larger cosmos. You are not isolated as the boundaries of your body suggest. Whether you look at life from a religious, spiritual or scientific perspective, what you think and feel affects the environment and the environment affects you.

Spending time in nature reconnects you to your natural rhythms. It is easy to lose your center when your attention is constantly captured by other people, television, computer, shopping, and so on. Taking time every day to be quiet in a
natural setting, reflecting, journaling, or just being present re-connects you to your truth.

Take a moment to smell a flower, watch the river flow by, or appreciate a tree when you take a break or before going home at the end of the workday.

Why it works~
Earth vibrates at a certain frequency. Spending time in nature synchronizes our vibrations to the natural vibrations that support us.

Closed up in hermetically sealed buildings with florescent lighting and re-circulating air all day can cause a loss of balance and connection with your self and your natural rhythms.

Pulling it together
Spiritual stress results from the loss of connection to your true self, values, purpose and nature. Taking time every day to re-connect with these aspects of your life reduces stress and supports happiness, security and connection.
